Lauren Ambrozic, M.A.
After graduating with honors from the University of Colorado, Ms. Ambrozic earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology at the University of Notre Dame. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is experienced in providing services and training in the areas of workplace misconduct mitigation, conflict management (including labor-management disputes), mediation, substance abuse, team building, and critical incident stress debriefing.
Ms. Ambrozic joined TAG in 2002 as a consultant in the management of workplace misconduct prevention programs and a specialist in the training of managers and supervisors.
Before joining TAG, Ms. Ambrozic coordinated the Workplace Misconduct Team for MediaOne in Denver, implementing workplace misconduct training and protocols to facilitate appropriate and consistent referral of threatening employees and other cases. As the Benefits Manager for MediaOne, she managed the International Employee Assistance Program, the Work/Life Balance program, the primary national healthcare benefit plan, COBRA, Flexible Spending Account plans, and international benefit programs.
While at US West in Denver, Ms. Ambrozic served on the Workplace Misconduct Team, managed mental health care disability cases, helped select an EAP vendor, and served as liaison between the EAP and healthcare plans.
Ms. Ambrozic has also worked for both external and internal employee assistance programs. While at United States Steel Corporation in Pittsburgh, she provided individual, family, and group therapy, developed training and educational programs to assist employees with stress, pain, and conflict management, managed mental health and substance abuse benefits, and coordinated a joint union/management drug and alcohol committee.
