Rob Ambrosini, Psy.D. (FBI, ret.)
Dr. Ambrosini worked for the FBI for over 24 years, where he handled a variety of cases including violent crimes, white collar investigations and foreign counterintelligence. He served in the New York Field Division, FBI Headquarters and worked as the National Center for Analysis of Violent Crime field representative for the Pittsburgh Division. He is a certified federal polygraph examiner and has conducted over 3,200 examinations. He was a subject matter expert for the FBIs Behavioral Analysis Program in interviewing for sensitive intelligence related investigations. Dr Ambrosini was adjunct faculty to California University of Pa as well as Claflin University. Dr. Ambrosini is a SME in interview and interrogation tactics and the art of detection of deception. In August 2022, Dr. Ambrosini began his appointment to faculty at Robert Morris University as an Assistant Professor teaching course work in Criminal Justice, Policing, Criminology, Police Ethics, White-Collar Crime and Investigations, and special topics. Prior to appointment to RMU he was the Western Pennsylvania Threat Assessement Hub Manager through the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and collaborated with stakeholders on preventing targeted violence in addition to serving as one of their Subject Matter Experts.
